I think he is just making an existential statement.
I'll play:
My driver's side front door window does not go up straight.
My engine ticks when it gets warm.
My rear suspension sags by about an inch.
I could go on for days on my xj alone.

WELCOME Chris.
I can't stay around. Maybe the OP just doesn't know where to start. So I will. Is it overheating when it's idling,on the highway,or both?

He wasn't spoon fed, so he went off in a huff cursing us. That's what a lot of kids do these days.

first thing i mostly see if the electric fan isnt working like it should. Start with that first, Its a 98 sooo if i remember pull the thermostat plug and it should pop on. Mind you that will trip an engine light.
riggghhtttt meh give it a little tuggy and the fan should pop on. If not unplug the fan and put power to the leads TO the fan.
If it doesnt turn on replace the fan. If not then thats another headache to track. Pull the relay to the cooling fan and replace it then if that doesnt work. Then i will leave the hardcore jeep wizards here to walk you through that.

.... oh also your ac works! simply just turn the ac on full blast and should kick the fan on. I keep forgetting about that method.
