replace the radiator and crunk it up drove it for about 5 mins. Then got home and milky stuff was pouring out transmission.. pulled the dipstick and it's covered in milky... The oil looks fine though.....
Seems like the tube that carries transmission fluid through the radiator has a rupture or leak (or is missing), allowing coolant to enter transmission.
Making a hell of a racket today trying to straighten out the inside fender. I'm sure there's a name for this piece, but if it's not "inside fender" I don't know what it is.
I finished the flare install and took it out for testing. Need about an inch longer bump stop up front. Not sure about the rear. Still need to put the bumper caps back on.
Grabbed a 139 amp alternator from a 96 GC to replace the POS 90 amp in my xj. I wanted to take care of the power source before adding winch and lights that'll kill the battery. I'll install at my earliest convenience.
Also swapped out the instrument gauge panel with LEDs from OneWayLight on the "01 Limited. The lights behind the fuel gauge and the transfer case bezel had gone out and I thought that it would be a good time to change over to the LEDs. I replaced the interior lights with LEDs several months ago.
After replacing the lights in the instrument panel, I had the dash almost back together before I thought about testing the new lights. When the panel did not light up, I thought that I had done something wrong. Only the directionals and the high beam indicator worked. After checking the fuse, I tried the dimmer. That illuminated a couple of the lights. Took the panel out once more to switch the non working LEDs around. Its a polarity thing. Very happy with the results.

only hiccup I had was finding out that my shifter bezel was broken. Nothing some modeling glue can't fix. What color did you get?

not today, but Saturday, finally got my oil filter adapter off. changed the o-rings and now I need 4 hands to get it back on. took off the filter to make it easier, not much though. so it still needs to get put back on before the snow and cold rolls in on Wednesday night.
