Finished my 2" lift today. Pro Comp AAL in the rear and 1.75" Daystar spacers in the front. Thought it would be easy but proved extremely time consuming as I did not have anyone around to help. Thank God for that rented spring compressor or I would never have been able to get the spacers over the bump stops. Also primed and painted the drum cover and hit the springs with the same black paint. Now I need to get in there with some more undercoating because the lift shows where I missed because the wheel was in the way.

Reason: Incline
Made a base adapter and put a 98 Ford Fusion seat in the jeep. Fits great and much more comfortable than the worn out stock seat. Uses the factory track for slide adjustment and the seat has lumbar/recline function.
Just need to go get the matching passenger seat.
that's what my seat bracket has too, I think the po said they got the seats out of a zj, and I don't remember the seat being that high in redmuck 1. this one I have to bend my neck way down to get in and out. so I'm not sure if the bracket altogether is different with the flat stock welded on. I seen that Hyundai elantras have awesome seats, actually most of their models. Ill try to remember to check out the seat and bracket in the jy this summer.
For the hood release or the exhaust? The exhaust was just to change it up and see what itd sound like, I liked it so now I ran it back to the axle. Still super loud. The hood latch I decided since its broke, ill "customize it" with a key ring and either paracord or like a winch lead of some sort, havent really got that far lol
Did you swap out the seatbelts? I need a front driver nasty maroon seatbelt. If you're up for getting rid of it?
Not yet actually only thing I haven't swapped that is on the list tho when i find a couple black ones. i will shoot you a message if you want. I do have the back seat ones if you want.

I ditched my back seat the first day I got my Jeep. If you change out the front ones let me know.
Installed a new felpro valve cover gasket along with new grommets and vent/PCV elbow.
Took about an hour from start to finish, most of that cleaning and getting the old elbows out of the valve cover. The old grommets were as hard as a rock.

Nice, the old elbows and grommets are a real bear to get out sometimes.
Pulled the front differential apart. Only a few months old, had 2 in/lbs of preload with carrier in. Carrier just fell out when bearing caps were removed. Time to sell the true trac and swap in the locker.

I love my TrueTrac on the road, in inclement weather, and in mud. The problem with any type of limited slip diff on rocks is that you don't get power to both tires unless one is already spinning. Next time I swap axles, I'll invest in selectable lockers
