Looks good, but I guarantee you, the first time you take it out, you'll slash up those tires on the fender and bend your fenders all to hell too...Go higher, or trim em up...

Trimming is the plan, except I have to find some tj flares or bushwackers in order to try and appear legal

did some work recently

cut the fenders

painted them

Then i had some flex tests but only got one swaybar disconnected in the front

Now i like the look of no flares but sadly i live in pa and we have to have the entire tire covered or 1 inch leeway or something so i had to throw some tj flares on. But i have it so whenever i hit a trail it will only take a second to take the flares off and back on

now the back doesn't rub or atleast it didn't there but i will probably still do the cut and fold method to add more clearance

You have to take your vin or last 8 digits of it, which can be found on the inside of the drivers door and send a request to

so i have been debating for a little while on what my plans were for my exhaust, my current header is cracked, my cat is no longer doing anything and everyone that drives behind me hates the smell, i figured if i get a new header and a cat my downpipe will be easy to change since its stock, i had also spent much time reading on performance upgrades and i wanted to switch out the stock setup from 2.25" to 2.5" which means i would also have to replace my muffler and stock tail pipe. Plus i could get a muffler thats louder and still annoy the people behind me and i finally came up with a setup that i wanted.
-APN Exhaust Manifold
-Dynomax Downpipe with 2.5" outlet
-Thunderbolt Spin Catalytic Converter
-Flomaster Super 44 Muffler
-Performance-Curve 2.5" Tail Pipe

I was unsure about the cat because it seemed small and cheap but looks like it is very durable. And it was cheap. I bought the muffler and tailpipe combo along with the cat after shipping for like $202 from performance-curve.com and i have to say i was very happy with the service from there and decent shipping.

All i need to finish this is two new 02 sensors and a hanger or two

Heres the setup

What i bought from performance curve

APN Header (NICE)

The parts

Well I did the head gasket, timing chain, exhaust, cleaned up everything, new hoses, and a bunch of other random stuff. It took a little while but it got done, just went to get inspected (PA) yesterday and they gave me a full sheet of crap. Gonna take it somewhere else and see what happens.

I do have tons of pictures of how it went though.

Well it has been a while since i posted anything and well been a while since i really have done anything with the jeep. i fixed a huge hole in the floor and am currently bed lining it. If I had enough time or money or material i would bed line the entire floor but that will be a later project. I am also bed lining the back cargo area and i am deciding if i want to leave it like that or put the carpet back in.

I am posting a few videos
This video is a problem i had after putting the engine back together and it turned out the exhaust manifold was too thick and the intake manifold did not seal correctly creating a huge vacuum leak.

These next two videos are a before and after the head gasket and timing chain and exhaust, o think the timing chain improved this very much.

^^^ the vacuum leak had to do with my intake manifold not seating properly to the head

Some recent work done, new rear axle seal, new front ujoints, hub assemblies, rotors, pads, new front shocks are on their way,

Got a roof basket off of a friend for $50 and he kept a 35" spare tire on it for a few years so I'm stoked to put it on and get a 33 on it, lights to go with it,

Also got free and new (to me) seats, front driver is electric I just have to wire it, but my old drivers seat frame was bad and the seats were worn so I'm glad I got these

Hopefully getting some 2x6 box steal in my rocker panels soon just need time and money,

I would get most of this done now but it is 20 degrees out without the wind and someone stole my tool box so I'm limited to what I can buy when I need it

well it has been a while since i have made any updates or atleast any worth noting. well other than this...

Recently went and bought some 3x6 box tubing, gonna weld up some rockers/sliders, having a buddy help who is really good with this kind of stuff, gonna tie them in to the frame, cant wait till this is done

also things that will be going on once there isn't a foot of snow on my jeep
Roof basket
Lights to go with the rack

trimming back fenders
maybe rear quarters fold once it warms up
Might try and look at building a bumper after seeing how the rockers go

Well you can say it has been a while but I was bored and looking through stuff. There is an update to this old Jeep, driver side rockers are being welded up but it is going to take some time to finish with everything I have going on but I have my own garage to just let it sit in. (Finally) I also have a lot of work to do for this poor thing.

I also have owned 2 other vehicles since my last post... Yeah it has been 2 years since then but my daily driver now a days is at least still under the Jeep name.
