Default 1998 Sport 4 door teen build

So originally my xj was my parents.

My parents bought another car and I basically inherited their 98 sport red Cherokee.
When I finally got the Cherokee, the floors were rusting, rockers were just about gone, leaked oil, has a weird stuttering problem, had no brakes, wasn't cleaned for two years, rear view mirror was gone, brother was rear ended a while back in it and hatch got stuck, and much more due to not having excessive care and northwestern pa weather. Well atleast it has a 3.5" lift and 31x10.5 r15 tires.

I have a list for the problems here and what I want to see.
Fix hatch. |X|
Fix rockers.
Fix rear main seal. |X|
Replace head gasket. |X|
Replace fuel pump.
Fix rusted areas. |X|
Add armor. LINK TO BUMPER I WANT.
New wheels. |X| LINK TO WHEELS I WANT. OR THESE.
Fix brakes. |X|
Change all oils. |X|
Clean up engine. |X|
Clean up interior. |X|
Clean up exterior.
Fix passenger front window.
Fix passenger back lock.
Redue exhaust. |X|
Try a new air intake. LINK TO AIR INTAKE
All new lug nuts. |X|
Maybe try bigger tires. |X|
Fix heater core. LINK TO HEATER CORE
Learn how to weld. |X|
Some more little things from time to time.

Heres how the jeep sits now.

First things I did about a month ago.
We got the hatch open and I went and bought new struts
And I added two 12" subs and an amp for a good deal.

Plus all my extra coolant and oil and brake fluid in a crate.

Into the first bit of work I really have made.
Few days ago I got to work on the rear brakes, they needed done plus this storm or whatever is supposed to hit this week.

Both sides done but the inspection place I went to that said my brakes needed done aparently do not know how to put lug nuts on right so I had to take the axel shaft out to get to the stud and the brakes. Some people just suck.

Today I had to work on something else. Lately the only way to open my hatch was from the inside. For some reason my latch wasn't working. The only way I could explain it is that the clippy thing wouldn't clip to the rod and half of it was broken. So I just threw a little weld to it in hopes it wouldnt burn through to much.

But now my hatch is opening up much easier than any other time but I still have to push in to open it.

Today no school because of state of emergency so I figured I will go to a buddy's house with a garage and do something about my passenger side rocker panel. It was getting really bad but I dont have box steel to weld in so I just took some sheet metal and covered the existing rocker with it. After an afternoon of hammering and riveting hammering and clamping and hammering and bondo and sand and paint. I made some progress. Went out and tested it to see if it would shift or move and continued to hit it with a hammer but it seems in place.

So I was on my way home from school today and the dumbest thing happened.
I was at a stop sign and this old guy was in front of me but a bus was turning towards us.
Next thing I know the old guy puts his car in reverse........ this is when I realized its a good time to fix my horn. Yup backs right into me.. we get out to see if anything had happened. Well if anything had happened to his car. My xj just had a few scratches but his car now needs a new tail light, dent popped out of his bumber and new touch up paint. Luckily I just need to grab the rattle can I have and I will be fine.

Now my jeep has been rear ended and front ended.
