I'm installing a Rigid Dually style LED pod light as a backup light. It draws about 2.5 amps. Can I just pigtail it onto one of the existing backup light's wiring? Will the factory wiring handle the increased amp draw? I could run power direct from the battery and use the factory backup light wiring to trigger a relay, but of course this would be a more involved project than just taking power from the factory wiring.
Thanks.
EDIT: Revised current draw for this light is 1.34 amps.
