Move this post if it belongs in fabrication but here we go:
I was stuck in a mud hole and got jerked out. When that happened my rear axle is now cockeyed a little bit and someone told me I can fix this as easily as wrapping a chain to it and a tree and backing up.
Is it that simple or is there more involved, if so what?

Get recovery points. I carry a d ring on a receiver for my recovery points. If it just slid on the leaf spring, loosen the 4 u bolt nuts and move it back. But make sure it didn't bend your subframe or your leaf pack

Isn't there a centering bolt on the leaf spring that aligns with the shackle? I'd be curious to see what happened to that before I tried realigning the shackle on the leaf spring.

look in the middle of your ubolt plate. If it moved on the spring you would have sheared your centering pin off and you'll be able to see if the bolt head is still there or not.

I can get pictures later if you want, but after getting under there I saw one of the leaf springs sticking out to the side, going to get everything I need and fix it soon.
