I've got some RC N2.0 shocks I could sell ya for a decent price. They only have about ~100 miles on them but, the jeep they are on has been sitting for 8 months so the bushings are kinda rough. If you're interested, shoot me a pm and we can discuss it.

Michael just go to advanced or autozone. They have a book that you can match any size shock you want. Get 14/24 or 15/25 Monroes and be done with it. I have bilstein 5100s and monroe, can't tell a difference.

The size shock works from 2-6 inches of lift.

Thanks I'll look into it. But I'll pull shocks off one of these days and flex it out and get some real measurements.

Here's my 98 XJ 4.5 lift and 35s. Will be redoing the bumps tops in a few days and ordering longer shocks. What shocks does everyone run?

That's what I was looking at from Iron Rock Offroad. Probably the 6"lift shocks for my 4.5 inch of lift

Default shock position question

view of how there at an inward angle

new upper shock mount behind rear axle

hey guys I came up on a good deal on some rear shocks there fox 2.0 x 12's well they were a little to long so my question is how much can they be angled in and will it not work right and will it ruin these shocks I had a friend fab them up but I wanna make sure im not gonna f*** things up, they clear everything good the only thing I don't like about how they work so far is if I even hit a dip in the city I live in even at 30 mph it throws the rear end of my jeep up pretty high but lands so nice and smooth I just don't like the kick and feeling of is what can I do to fix that, there filled at 150 psi with nitrogen as of now I want them to soak it up a little better. any thoughts

I wouldn't go anymore than that. Run shock hoops up through the floor and mount them on top of the U bolt plates.

Doetsch has a spec list on their website to give you the compressed and extended lengths. I would flex your jeep without shocks and measure the compressed and extended measurements of the mounting points and then refer to the list to get them to where you want it and then call IRO to see what "lift" shock matches that. I got the 3" with bpe and they work very well on my 4" lift but in the future will be measuring so I know for sure it's perfect, haven't had any issue so far though.

You will more than likely need to re-valve them. Maybe contact Fox to see what they would recommend for a 45deg shock angle. With an angle that severe though, the shock's ability to do it's job is considerably limited.
