The carrier bearings are still very tight on this axle. I had to cram a rag between the ring and pinion gears to pop the carrier out.

I have to say I’m impressed with how far a gallon of POR-15 goes. I’m still using the original gallon that I used on the underbody, floors and front axle, and there’s still plenty left!
