I got a 1998 ZJ Limited with 249 transfer case and the front drive shaft has U joints only and not the CV. I'm looking to pre-order all the U joints And I'm having a hell of a time being certain on the correct ones to get. Rockauto Lists multiple u joints for my model and other parts websites are not much better on identifying what goes where. I am not talking about whether to use regular or heavy duty, I'm talking about what each position on the drive shafts requires....

 

I’m not checking the numbers for you, but for the 2 front ones you want the ones that have the grease zett set into the middle of the cap, and C clip rings hope that helps
