A Dana 50 out of a Superduty would have no problem handling 37s or even 40s under an XJ.

Yeah a xj or zj would be light weight next to a truck thats what 10k?I have seen a yj on dana 44s running 40s and didn't break anything that trip.

I am piecing together a dana 50 build for my zj. Buddy has an excursion that he is going to super 60 swap, and I get the old axles as payment for using my shop

The the leaf spring super duty axles are cheap and easy to get now,My beater 95 f250 will get a set soon when i have the money and time.
