Track bar keeps clunking and getting loose

Default Track bar keeps clunking and getting loose

So my dad changed his track bar on his jeep because it was clunking we got it back on and the anonymous clunk was back any help there was a quieter clunk other than the track bar any on know how get it to stay tight

Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system

Without seeing it, it is probably the track bar axle bracket that has an oval hole in it. It will take some welding to fix it. Either weld on a thick washer, the less desirable way or replace the bracket with three sides of a 2X4X3/16 plate with a hole drilled in it for the bolt.

thank you I’ll see if that’s it only problem is we don’t have a welder.
