There are reviews on Amazon asking the same. Some stated it came just as yours, and a bag of hardware from Rough Country. Not sure what to tell you other than to call Moog directly, or even Rough Country to see if theres some sort of partnership between them, but ive never dealt with thier customer service. Either of them. All the Moog products ive purchased in the past came in Moog packaging, but i havent bought anything of thiers in a very long time.

I actually saw that before I purchased which is why I opted to buy it from Rock auto as I assumed it would be genuine from them. The moog stabilizer end links i got came in the same order and clearly have moog branding markings on them. Now my trust in them is a bit diminished. I will probably return it, so ill be out 6 hbucks. Oh well, now others know to be wary I guess.

Moog was bought by a Chinese manufacturer about 10 years ago. Theyre just not wasting the money stamping/printing the name anymore. If you search hard enough, you will find lots of mechanics who noticed the quality was getting worse, while the parts still had the MOOG name on them. Unfortunately MOOG is not the OEM parts supplier we are all accustomed to. I dont buy MOOG anymore. Even from Rockauto. (But i do spend most my money at RA)

Less than a year ago, I bought Moog ball joints from Rockauto and they came in the familiar blue and yellow boxes. You can send yours back and get store credit or cash from them.
