Morning, folks! Got a stock '96 ZJ, with the transmission filler tube coming up against the firewall on driver's side. Freaking pain in the @$$ to check/fill fluids. On my '01 WJ it comes up on passenger side with the oil dipstick tube.
Anyone know if it's possible to rectify this nonsense by relocating the Tranny filler tube to the other side? Maybe possible to just grab another tube off a '01 and switcheroo?

I'm not sure what the issue is here?
Trans fluid isn't checked often enough and unless your crazy short the dipstick is pretty easy to reach.
I need a stool with mine only because I've got 4 inches of lift and its a bit of a stretch.
