What is your recommendation to convert my original cooling system with an electric fan? My current system is a factory AC with a clutch fan if for nothing else but the cool factor, (get it? LOL) and recover a little power for the 4.0L. Also, it is worth mentioning I am picky, I like clean, almost original installs.
I am considering More Information for FOUR SEASONS 76008 (rockauto.com)

A good flush or two goes a long way. Then, find and fix any tiny leaks, such as the lower hose to water pump clamp. Just a little drip can be enough to lower the pressurized system and run cooler. A radiator pressure tester should show you hold pressure when you pump it.
Then, the 190 thermostats you buy usually open too soon, napa sells a 200.
I also recommend taking out the transmission drain back valve, virtually all of them will be plugged and stuck - no cooling. and bypassing the transmission cooler with an aftermarket as they usually are plugged which can make your tranny run hot and not shift right.

Thank you, I have decided to do just that. Everything except a radiator which is newish has been ordered from Rockauto and should be here Wednesday. I am on the hunt for the OEM fan shroud, it amazes me how ridiculously high-priced they are.

All great suggestions. The OE stat as it was listed from Rockauto will probably be of the 190ish variety, I will check it. Excited to stuff the truck behind the RV gate tomorrow and start taking it apart. Thank you for your time and suggestions.
