Default How to plug extra hole in TUPY head

I replaced the 0331 head on my Cherokee a few months back with a TUPY head, has anyone had one with an "extra" hole on the back drivers side of the head that goes through to the coolant passage?

I've looked through forums with no luck and decided to post here. I was able to plug it temporarily with a bolt and thread tape as its threaded, but it has recently started to drip slowly as I'm assuming the tape has deteriorated from the heat.

Any help is appreciated!

Hey hajmola regular! Just saw your one and only thread, with not one response, while I was researching a cylinder head project for my own 2002 TJ .. I seen comments in my search about this hole with, has been said, is for a temperture sensor on older XJ's. It was also said, to plug it with a 1/8 npt pipe plug. IMO, I'd try to find a brass plug from a local hardware store. Hope this helps.

How disappointing that no one responded to your question even though you a newie and haven't contributed... I guess this is a "Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" forum?
