3 inch bastard lift wj
#16
so im basically finding jack crap about a junkyard wj lift 3+ inches i stopped at an offroad shop by me today and found that 92 f150 springs have a 4 inch diameter and are 15.49 inches long (should fit with the dog ears cut off ) the wj is 4.04 diameter with 16.5 inches long i would assume i would get 0-1 inch lift with these since they are shorter but are much stiffer but i dont think the front coils will fit the rear im at a loss here dont want to spend 500$ or more right now for a 3-3.5 inch lift until summer when money is more available any ideas?
I got 3in Polu spacers on Amazon for like $70. I know a lot of people say not to do that big of a spacer but I love mine. The install was a pain (PA Jeep = rust on everything) but nothing I didn’t expect and we didn’t have a spring compressor. I was able to fit 33’s with a little bit of bumper trimming. I may be partial but I think the 3in spacer kit was enough to make it look pretty badass!

Its crazy .... the body on mine is rust free other than a small spot on the rocker that I fixed. But underneath was a different story. When I pulled my coils I couldn’t believe how bad they were under the rubbers. I’d like to eventually get new coils too but I’m not ready to mess with the drive shaft and all the other stuff that comes along with going bigger 🙄

Im only doing 2.5 coils with a 1/4 leveling kit I should be able to do 235/85/16 on factory if your fitting 33s with a 3 inch the 235s are only 31.76 inches tall and what tire are they...they look like pirelli scorpions almost which is what I'm getting

They’re Dick Cepek Extreme Country. Reasonably priced and honestly the best tires I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough good things about them and I’m not easily impressed. They’re pretty loud which may bother some people but I love the sound of my tires singing lol
