I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee 4.7l and there was a rapid clicking noise every time I unlocked the car that would last about 10 seconds. Today while sitting in a drive through, the air stopped, no hot or cold air. It seems like there is no power to the climate control panel because even the rear defroster does not turn on. It also popped on the air bag light in the dash. Any suggestions on how to fix?

 

Not sure about the airbag light being triggered by the HVAC controls not working, but have you checked the fuses and relays for the climate controls? If ithey're bad, that might be a reason as to why your climate controls appear to be dead.

Update: yesterday all the climate control works again and the airbag light is no longer on, I did not even do anything to the vehicle, but I drove it a few times yesterday and everything seemed fine then I went to start it and it would not start. I had to try a couple times and turn the key and hit the gas to keep it started. It would start then die right away so hitting the gas allowed it to start. It seems like there are multiple issues.
