Hi all,

This is my first post on here and I am looking for some help. I searched and found some related posts but they were for older cherokee's.

I just bought a 2004 grand cherokee a few days ago and everything has been peachy. Today, the weather got cold again and I noticed that the directional control for the climate control has stopped working. The air flow is stuck on "defrost" and no longer switches to vents/floor/mix.

I've read that it could be a vacuum line issue which I will check tomorrow but I was just curious if anybody has had similar problems and could shine some light on the situation. Thanks.

i'm not familar with your year jeeps dashboard instrumentation. if your controls are digital , it's probably a fuse or relay problem. if the dials are analog ( manual turn by hand ) , you have a worn out switch or a stuck vent control lever.
