Kenwood kdc-bt562U headunit
6.5 pioneers all around
Polk audio 660 something 4 channel powering the speakers
Rockford fosgate p300.1 powering my sub
12" alpine type r in a sealed box.
I currently have a Pioneer DEH-80prs in active mode paired to a JBL XD-700/5 and a pair of (now blown) rather cheap polk audio components with a (also blown) cheap image dynamics 10" sub tucked in a cubby box. I installed this after doing the interior in stinger roadkill and putting adhesive foam pads behind all the interior panels. After nearly two years, the rattles are mostly still gone, but some are creeping back up. The driver a-piller trim clips are busted, so that needs replaced. I could repair if I did fiber work, but I'm just going to replace it.
I'm installing in mid-December:
JBL MSI-8
ALIPINE 2-Channel from the 90's
Precision Power P.65c3 (pair plus dedicated center channel)
10" Infinity Kappa from the 90s (green version)
Infinity Speakers for rear soundbar (pep-boys on-the-cheap special)
To Do / Considerations:
PPI Art Series 4channel amp - needs repaired (to replace the alpine)
Alternator whine present after wiring upgrade to 4 gauge (alt-engine-ground-battery-distribution)
Tone present in speakers at 2400rpm - happens when head unit powered on
Center channel speaker locations - woofer under under console storage pointed at rear seat, mid in place of ash tray (gonna drill this out), and tweeter is TBD (probably near mid)
Front left-right speaker locations - woofer in door (gonna cut door panels and use spacer rings to fit the larger magnets, mids in panel under side vents, tweeters in pods on dash.
Amp hardware locations - under rear seat. The jack hardware will be put in a storage box until I can find a permanent home for it.
DEH-80prs will be put in dummy mode with the JBL MS-8 doing processing
Locations for crossovers - in doors with the center being mounted under the console
Gonna run the subs at low power - will need replaced soonish
