Positive or negative power on wiring
2010 jeep Cherokee is what my girlfriend owns. I've always wired my end electrical toys on my 75 Series LandCruiser then inexperienced shine through when I done the same for my 80 series to find outsuch a thing as negative on after I burnt out the steering wheel wiring harness in it. Does the Cherokee my partner own have positive or negative power on please ppl?

Is English not your native language? I'm having trouble understanding what you are asking.
Seeing you're from Virginia & I'll assume it's the US of A that that might be your miss understanding of my question mate, I'm in South Western Australia & am aware of the different definitions the world can have for the same item, equipment, tool, or wiring definition for example so I'll refrain from appearing like a bully & try & dumb my question down enough to be understood my friend. Earth, ground, negative can be the turn the electrical item you want to be turned on although on a different vehicle, motorcar, machinery so forth if you try to achieve the same result with the previous mention wiring scenario you can burn out wiring harnesses & all sorts of electrical items because the said vehicle is actually run by the positive, power or active side of the battery. I might also have a incoming that you aren't aware in Australia we have to have our additional spotlights, work lights & such run through our high beam/low beam lever, switch activation device along with its own deactivation trigger, switch, control. I am asking for when I link into the high beam/low beam switch is it done through the earth/ground wiring or the positive/power wiring please?

- I tried to sort out your poor grammar and incorrectly punctuated word salad mess.
- Since we often get people posting here from non-English speaking countries, I asked about your native language so I could work with you, instead of assuming you are just ignorant, lazy, stupid, or all three.
- You got on your high horse.
- Bye.
Thanks for that first experience in a forum Blueridgemark. I wrote that because somewhere in this site I noticed a comment regarding the ground wire then in brackets don't look at the ground itself & not being tech savvy as you might've noticed by now I felt it was directed at myself hence my reply. I was told forums are full of ignorant cocky smarasses & as I mentioned for my first experience asking for help with a situation I am not aware of I get you on the 1st go. I stand as tall as I do in reality as to keyboard warriors bud & U have just been a dick.

If i'm understanding the question correctly. Her jeep should use positive for the switching. Negative to the body, Positive to the headlight harness.
Hope this helps.
