I have a 90 2dr, 4wd xj and needless to say it's a mess under the hood (as far as the electricity goes)...not to mention the drain. every time I turn on the lights, windshield wipers and heater, I can watch the battery gauge drain to just above the red line...So I'm thinking of redoing the wiring harness...I'm sure there is a short somewhere...so here's the question: Does anyone know where the best place is to get a(n) after market or more up-to-date wiring harness? any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Iknow after reading a lot of these threads that electrical is a taboo subject, but I'm hoping that someone is a(n) electrical engineer and can help. thanks again.

 

Try painless wiring, or Ron Francis wiring, or Centech wiring. They may have some kits to help you.
