Hey guys, new member here, so I picked up this 1989 cherokee with a tun of electrical problems. I've already done the 5 speed swap. Now I'm trying to delete the ignition switch on the steering colum and put it on the dash with a push button. The only problem is that I have no idea on what wires to hookup where. if someone has done this or knows how I'd appreciate it

 

Dunno about an 89. I suggest you buy the FSM (Field Service Manual), which may be available online. That's the dealer's shop manual. It will have full electrical diagrams in it.
