Question Comanche Assistance

Ok i think I'm in the right place.

well i have a 4-cyl 2wd Comanche and the 4 speed went out the only transmission i could find is out of a 4-cyl 4wd need to know if i can use it with a bit of modification already have the Transfer case off. any assistance will be much appreciated.

the one i found is a 5 speed

I'm Thinking i just need to put the tail end off the 2wd onto the new tranny and i should be good.... i hope

If you're tight for cash, you can just leave the transfer case attached and don't hook up the linkage. You will still be in 2wd.

You will need to swap the housing and the tail shaft. Not sure how big of a job that is.
