Comanche Assistance

Ok i think I'm in the right place.

well i have a 4-cyl 2wd Comanche and the 4 speed went out the only transmission i could find is out of a 4-cyl 4wd need to know if i can use it with a bit of modification already have the Transfer case off. any assistance will be much appreciated.

the one i found is a 5 speed

I'm Thinking i just need to put the tail end off the 2wd onto the new tranny and i should be good.... i hope

If you're tight for cash, you can just leave the transfer case attached and don't hook up the linkage. You will still be in 2wd.

You will need to swap the housing and the tail shaft. Not sure how big of a job that is.

Your half way to 4x4 man just grab some drive shafts and a frobt axle and you can have a 4x4 mj

If it was me, I would just bolt the new one up and down the road you can get a HP30 and have 4x4. Like outlaw said just leave the tcase in 2wd. I can get you pictures of mine in 2wd if need be.
