Last inspected and registered in 2001 it had been used from 2001 to 2016 to collect firewood on a homestead. I purchased it in 2016 when it would barely run anymore.

Making cardboard templates and a plasma cutter I used a sheet of 11 gauge cold rolled steel to plate the entire frame under the cab.

Leaf spring mounts were extended to build an extra 3" lift into the frame

A tub of hvac duct sealer turned out to be a great seam sealer.

Purchased a rotted out 2001 Cherokee for $250 delivered for a donor vehicle
Donor vehicle being disassembled
Way more work than expected
Complete wiring harness swapped in. Motor tranny and transfer we're swapped in as one piece (much easier for me that way)

Beginning to get excited

What an upgrade from a tired out bench seat

Rocker repair with scrap sheet metal
Mounted the plastic Cherokee fuel tank to the bed and made a scrap sheet metal frame and cover for it
Goodbye Cherokee, off to the scrap yard.

Looked so awesome with the tires sticking out past the flares, wish I didn't have to cover the tires with flare extensions.
Affordable off-road front bumper exceeded my expectations for the price.
