Default Remote Start Problems

Hello all.

New to the group but had my 2020 Jeep Cherokee TH for about 8 months.

I was installing a remote start which requires one wire to plug into the can buss box located under glove box.

During the install,, i broke a terminal in the can buss, unplugged it all, dug out the broken terminal and made a rewire for the one plug since i broke the original..

However,, now,, my vehicle won't start,, unlock, or run accessories.

Is it possible the can buss is bad now?

I double checked the pins and rewired all back to oem to rule out remote start interference (which also didn't work.)

Any thoughts?

I'd say that you might be out of luck. Since a modification caused the problem, Jeep likely won't pay for the replacement, and your warranty could be void.

Check that you don't have the two pins shorted in the socket you damaged.
