Default Remote start removal

So i bought a jeep that had a remote starter installed, how would i go about removing it because those things scare me. Ive heard horror stories about the electrical problems they can cause.

Find the brain and unplug it. I have remote start on all my vehicles. No issues here

I just installed a remote start and no problems also. It simple as just removing the brain or pulling the fuse for it. No fuse no power no worries.
