Popping sound

Default Popping sound

Ok, the dealer told me a module went out, causing a software issue pertaining to something in the steering..? and caused a popping sound.. ?? im not sure of he just blew smoke.. or not.. because.. can anyone enlighten me on this??
ill find out on the ticket.. sounded more like axles popping, or the steering box... and me not being a mechanic , i dont keep up with names of stuff like this.. turn the wheel.. it pops.. not sure what software has to do with that..? anybody?

Need more info on the problem? From what I understand, you get a popping sound from the axle when you make a turn?

at any speed, a while turning left or right, out of driveway doing a sharp turn, to being on the highway on a slight turn, pop!

axel,? steering box? something? they said it was some kind of control module.. and blamed software again..
i will be more informative tommorrow or the next day when i pick it up from the shop..

struts, axels, and something else was worked loose? causing something to slam..? transmission *** well.. my jeeps been in the shop since the 5th they are ripping it apart.. monday i will get a print out of everything.. im supposed to pick it up by then..
