Exclamation noise after drive, please help!

Hi, I have a Jeep Cherokee 2016, currently only 14400 miles. Recently, I have heard a noise come from underneath the car. I first heard it about one month ago, come and go. I went to the dealer, they were unable to reproduce it. Now it became worse. The noise only comes out after I drive for a while. If I parked my car overnight, the first several mile driving is OK. The noise loudness does not change when I applied the brake or accelerate. The frequency did change, though.
I have recorded the noise by hanging cell phone outside the car:

At last, I stopped the car, when the engine is still running, the noise went away.

What do you guys think the noise can be?

THe recording just sounds like wind noise to me. What's it sound like? Rattle, rubbing, scraping, high or low pitch? Does the noise change with vehicle speed? Engine speed? Does it change if you put it into sport mode?

Hi, Lawsoncl,
Thanks for your reply, if you turn up the speaker, you will clearly notice besides the wind noise, there is also a high pitch noise, sound like metal grinding to each other. The noise changes pitch when the speed changes, but not changes when I apply the brake. The noise can only be heard after I drive long distance, if only drive several miles locally, nothing can be heard.

Can you affect it by putting it into sport mode? The reason I ask is that the driveshaft to the rear wheels only turns at slower speeds or when traction is needed, or if you've put it into sport mode. The bearings that support the drive shaft have been known to dry out and cause rubbing or scrapping noises. I just replaced mine, and you could clearly hear it spin up/down when you put it into sport mode.

I'd also have a look at the wheels behind the brake rotors and make sure you don't have a rock stuck between the rotor and the dust shield or the dust shield itself is rubbing. That'll usually cause a metallic fingernail on the chaulkboard noise that's hard to chase down.

Hi, Lawsoncl,

Thanks again, I have not tested it under sport mode yet, the noise was heard under auto drive (front wheel drive) mode. Tomorrow I will have the dealer check the points you mentioned.
