To Jeep or Not to Jeep?! HELP!
Just got my first Jeep cash, 2014 Jeep Cherokee Sport
Hurricane Harvey washed my poor Camaro away and now Sport is causing me issues after buying from a dealership only 6 days ago.
FIRST ISSUE -
No check engine light; however, there is a clicking noise when I turn the wheel.
Exactly like this:
Was told it is possibly CV joints.
THEN...
SECOND ISSUE -
This morning my Jeep started to sputter going about 5 mph only for a brief second. This is after a mechanic advised me that I need new motor mounts about 3 days ago. So I was already done. Adding to the headache,
THIRD ISSUE -
it idles smoothly in all gears EXCEPT reverse. It's a nasty rough idle. Advised possibly TPS.
Where do I find part numbers for a Jeep Cherokee online? It seems all available parts are for older Jeeps.
Any help is appreciated. I'm thinking about selling her at a loss. I paid 14k for 56mi.
