Drive without rear driveshaft
2014 TrailHawk 3.2. AWD
I'm getting vibration and noise that comes in at takeoff, gets loudest around 40 mph and eases up a little at highway speeds. It sounds and feels exactly like when the original driveshaft carrier bearing rusted out, except this time it doesn't go away when I pull fuse #10. Can I pull the driveshaft without dumping fluid, and drive without it to confirm that' the source?
I'm also annoyed to notice that the lower front right control bushing is torn again after hitting a pothole. I'm halfway suspecting that may be part of the problem, but the noise doesn't change when turning, but that's no guarantee it' not the wheel bearing either.
