Default Dash lit up like a Christmas Tree, Please help

2016 KL with 42k miles. Here's what going on: I get these messages: Service Transmission, Service Parking Brake, Service ABS, 4WD unavailable, Engine Icon lit.

What are my next steps? Does this have to be taken to Jeep or can another shop fix this?

I read that the battery could cause this. It's the stock battery. Is that really possible for a battery to cause all this?

Yes it can, and somewhat common. Either a weak battery or poor connections to the battery can cause this. What happens is the poor connections causes the battery voltage to drop enough while cranking that the various computers crash or freak out, and you get the error messages.

Start by removing, cleaning and tightening the battery cable connections. 10-mm wrench as I recall on the battery connectors, and then a wire brush or a bit of steel wool.

It'll probably go away on it's own. If it doesn't you should have it checked and see if perhaps there is another unrelated issue.

Did they inspect the sensor, or just pull the code? It could just be fouled with dirt or crud, versus actually bad. (I don't recall what the sensor look like, and whether there is an exposed tone wheel versus an enclosed sensor)

they just pulled the code, good point that it may be fouled with dirt so worth a clean due to the 2 week wait, they said when the new one is fitted all the service lights should disapear but the engine light may need to be knocked out with the scanner, the battery was fine when tested it was 100% , that would have cost around £180 versus the £30 for the sensor, not seen the sensor mysef so dont know at this point if any of the tone wheel is exposed,il brief you up when the jobs put right, cheers for jumping on the thread ;-)
