Question 2016 Cherokee Latitude battery help

The wife has a 2016 jeep cherokee latitude and the battery will not start the jeep. It is a 95AA battery and I can not find one anywhere. Any help on what to replace it with?
Also do I need to keep 12v to the system when I change out the battery?
I Just posted in a tech section
Thanks,
Chris

You must have an AGM battery, not a standard type regardless of the size. Otherwise it won’t last and it won’t work well. Don’t believe otherwise regardless of what the pimple-faced clerk at the auto parts store tells you.

You don’t have to keep 12 volts to the vehicle when you remove the battery, after a few cycles the vehicle will clear any codes and work fine. Of course you can keep 12 volts to the vehicle, just make certain you do it correctly.

Yes I have an AGM as it was the stock battery and is now 3-4 years old. the new AGM's that are out there are Group 94 and are 1" taller. No one sells group 95 that I can find. What can I put in there? and there is a cover on it as well, do I need to keep the cover?

I`d go to some online battery website like Interstate or even Mopar or Sam`s Club type sites. They should have a 'Battery Finder` tool there. A few of those websites should at least get you the info you need.

Have you seen the reference made to H7 AGM batteries as replacements?

You don't need the cover and a Group 94 will fit.
