Default Cherokee Mast

My new '16 Cherokee Latitude has a mast above the hatch......I am concerned going through a car wash with it still on....can it be removed (unscrewed)....or is made so that it is safe going through a wash?

Thank you.

The mast can be unscrewed if you're concerned about the car wash or not fitting in your garage. It can also be replaced with a stubby (4") mast or the shark fin.

I have only washed my 2016 Cherokee TH by hand so far, but also worry some about the antenna going thru a car wash. Anyone have any issues with the antenna and going thru a drive thru car wash?

My mast is on very tough little critter and I would never be worried about it going thru a wash.

If the car wash is that low then the mast is the least of your worries.
Don't fret it, you will be OK.
