Default A/C leake caused by poor design

Have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4x4 3.2 L
Bought it almost new. Didn't have any problems until recently.

Poor Design: The Cooling Fan shroud is designed with fancy rails and fins.
The fins are pointed, and guess what passes directly in front of the fins?
If you guessed the A/C Discharge and Liquid Line (which is rubber), then you nailed it.

So the pointy fin finally poked a hole in that line. Oil squirted out and A/C blew hot air.
I just replaced the line, but I have no idea if there's still oil in the compressor. And, btw, I took a grinder to the fin to shave/round off the points. Now there's plenty of room and no pointy objects rubbing against a rubber hose.
I've also ordered a 1234yf gauge kit with all the adapters and such. How do I know how much PAG oil to add? And, I'm assuming that I add the Oil before the Refrigerant?
Is it safe to add oil without a vacuum pump? I've read that the Pumps and recovery systems do not completely remove all of the oil. Is that correct?
Additionally, The sticker under the hood reads SAE J639 J2842 J2845. Seems as though that the brands sold online or in big box don't show the SAE. Viscosity 46 seems to be the most popular.
Can't find the OEM fill type anywhere. Any ideas as what type to use?
