Is there any way to disable the auto shutoff on my 16 Cherokee? Maybe pull a fuse?

 

If you mean the engine start stop system, nothing simple or free. There are certain aftermarket parts which plug into the OBDII port which will disable it. If you mean something else you’ll have to be more specific.

 

In my 2015 there is a button on the dash by the fan control, also an option in the evic menu on the dash board.
I also have a trailhawk, might be model dependent.

 

By factory default it resets to on every time when you start vehicle.

 

Yes, they all have that button and the EVIC function to turn off the ESS. The OP wants to disable it.
