Anybody got the definitive answer if a 3.6 exhaust cam will perform correctly in a 3.2?
I’ve got a bad lobe on the left side exhaust cam on my 3.2 and can’t find a replacement with the usual online suppliers. I found the intake on the right and replaced it, PRICEY, but could not find the exhaust on the left. Rock auto shows a significant difference in price, 3.6 cams for less than 1/3 the cost of 3.2 cams, but part numbers are different. Maybe different grinds?
Any help would be appreciated. I’d even be interested in buying someone’s used 3.2 left side exhaust cam.
