2015 cherokee hid kit?

i just boght my dad the 2015 Cherokee latitude north America addition and he misses his hids from his grand Cherokee. its a 9012 LL bulb according to some sites and was wondering if anyone made the upgrade? one site said a 9006 bulb would work but im not so sure about that? any advice would be great. thanks!!
