Why are newer cherokees mostly untouched?
disclaimer. I don't anything about cherokees. I'm just starting to learn.
I'm wondering, why don't I see newer cherokees with modifications, lifts, etc? it's mostly older ones
Thanks

Welcome!
That's because the newer ones are junk, and only share the name, not the capability. Off roaders don't want them.

Not many was to modify what is basically a minivan. Old Cherokee XJs have solid axles and a normal part time 4x4 system, and they are just more simple in every way, making them easy to modify and great for offroad use.
