Waving from Italy
Hi everyone, this is Claudio and I'm writing (and reading, so far ) from North Italy.
I finally got a '98 2.5 TD (VM) Sport in late January and I'm slowly working (spending!) on it, meanwhile I'm enjoying some offroad on our local trails...
I have a couple of issues (electrical, obviously) to be addressed and I'm sure I will find the answer on this great forum!
Ciao!

Here in Italy XJs (and also WJs) from those years, as far as I remember, had mostly green, plain blue and this "deep amethyst purple" paint.
In fact, as soon as I saw the one I actually bought, something very familiar rang in my head, straight from my twenties...

I already looked at that (I read on the forum about that sticker), but looks like EMEA export XJs had some different stickers and codes...
