im new. i like xj's and mj's. but mostly 2 door xj's. im driven a 1989 jeep cherokee sport. it has a 4.0l straight six, a pegout ba 10/5 worthless fivespeed tranny, and a junkyard 5 1/2 inch lift. round headlights, roof rack with basket, spotlight, grip spurs. primer gray. it all started when i was just a boy. when i was 11 i aquired an 84' 4door with a 2.8 v6 from my neighbor for free. i rebuilt the front suspension with springs out of a grand cherokee which made those saggy old 84's seem like weak butter. then i just put gabriels all the way around and sold it for 1000 bucks. later i got another 2.8l 85 for 300, fixed it and sold it for 1000. finally,( ive had other jeeps too but the sake of your bordem) im now 18, i obtained the 2 door 89 xj i drive now by, trading my old drumset for it. the owner was an electrician without a clue how to fix cars and he had the tranny half torn apart to fix the internal slave cylinder in the peace of shiz tranny. so i decided if it ran, i would take it home. so i hooked the started up and the kps up and now i have an 89 frankenjeep

 

oh and p.s anyone that wants to fill me in with some sweet info about what clubs to join etc dont hesitate to let me know cause i know little about how to work these blog deals

sweet. i love your ride. i hope mine is up and running by then. ive got the whole front end taken apart right now, trying to rebuild the axle and i bent my stock upper control arms and my drag link. so im in a bit of a tough spot right now.
