Default Thought I'd say hello.

Like I said, thought I'd say hello. Just joined last night after finding the site yesterday and already finding ideas to steal. I have an '87 XJ with a 3" Rancho Lift, that was on the truck when I bought it, 33x12.50x15 Cooper Discoverer STT's, Bushwacker Cut-Out flares, Genuine Steel bumpers, and an early '60's Mack dog on the hood. I got my truck in highschool, instantly fell in love with Jeep, and started working on it after I graduated. I started with little things like bumpers and tires then went to the cut-out fender flares, but then I blew the motor and that took most of my Jeep savings and but a whoa on the mods. I'm starting to get back into moding my Jeep after ignoring it for the past few years, starting a family and all, and figured I would join up to get ideas, help, or whatever else. Now let's have some fun.

Glad you joined us, any more pictures of your jeep?

I blew my motor at around 252,000 miles. I broke a rod and threw it through the block leaving a hole the size of my fist. I guess I didnt really blow it but it cost enough for the block and all. I also had it air-lock around the sensor one night and ended up blowing the radiator hose, putting a whole in the radiator, and frying the piston rings. I have the idiot lights and since it locked around the sensor it never told me it was overheating and with it being 3 in the morning I never saw any steam. I now have gauges that I need to put in but I'm hoping that's the last of the repairs.
