Had a few Wranglers in the past, but picked up a new to me 2000 XJ Sport at the end of December. Very solid for it’s age especially in our part of the country! Had 154,000 miles on the clock and I’ve put about 1,500 on her as my night and weekend driver in the last month.

Had the muffler replaced the day after I brought it home (known issue) and I redid the headliner that weekend. Have a few projects in mind, but she will remain mostly stock at this point.

You're braver than I to tackle the headliner job.
Be sure to properly maintain the cooling system.

 

Compared to some of the mechanical/suspension work folks do @cruiser54 the headliner was a piece of cake! I followed a YouTube video put together by “OutJeeping” that was great. I’m very pleased with how it came out.

Thank you for the reminder on the cooling system. Dealer replaced the radiator before they put it up for sale so that should help…
