Hi my name is Kim I have a 1995 4.0l 2wd cherokee sport auto stock wheels. I paid $600 and replaced the PS gearbox front fenders bumper and grill about 3 yrs ago. I have a idle issue where it runs great when I first start it till it gets warm then then it idles rough and my mileage has dropped to about 14 freeway. I have new injectors coming and was wondering where the egr and the air charg temp sensors are so I can clean or replace them. The vacuum lines are all good. It has good power on the skinny pedal but somtimes it will almost stall at a light but most of the time it is just annoying. I want to nip it in the bud any suggestions would be appreciated oh yea I put a class II hitch on it and want the power for pulling my boat tks Kim

Thanks It is a 1973 14 ft fiberform fishing boat with a 1961 40hp evinrude long shaft engine has been gone thru complete just need to finish the dodger top and paint and wire but plan on haveing it on the water next month. The jeep has been sitting just put a new batt and waiting for the injectors and will give it a good tune up. I hope the injectors and tune up will solve the rough idle and just sprayed the map with electrical cleaner. Does my engine have a intake air temp sensor and would the idle air valve cause a rough idle it idles fine till it gets up to temp then it shakes at a light. I cleaned the PCV and seems to work fine and all the vacuum lines are good. She still scoots pretty good with the skinny pedal but the mileage dropped about 4 mpg. new water pump and t-stat and holds coolant. Just want to know if there is anything I could do as far as preventive maint like clean the IAT the only code I get is the cruise control and it has never worked sinse I got it I cannot figure how to power it up. any help would be appreciated. Reply to kimcrwbr1; Wow! that boat should be a collectors, by now! Glad it runs good. Them old evinrude/johnsons really hold up. In the last two years, I've inherited 2 cars, and 2 boats. From my mom in 2008, I got my jeep. And a 18 ft. Bass buggy (pontoon boat) with a 40 hp. merc. Great for fishing, and duck hunting. Keeping both. From my older brother in 2009. I got a 2001 Yukon XL, and a 1984 27 ft. Formula Thunderbird. With twin Merc. 454's. (Easily does 60+, with 6 people on board) But what a gas pig! Went last summer with my brother for an afternoon. Watched $450 in gas get burned up about 5 hrs. (More than a house payment for me) I couldn't believe it. Sold the Yukon, Nice truck but way too big. Boat's up for sell right now. Willing to let it go for 4k. Also way too big for me.
