Hello fellow Jeepers! Please forgive me for cheating and posting a problem thread before introducing myself. I just bought a cherry 96 XJ Sport from an elderly man who had babied it for the last 10 years of its life. 4.0L 4wd auto with 130K - all stock, dark green with the factory 10 hole alloys. I'll have to post a pic tomorrow.
I used to have an electric blue 94 Sport as a DD that I had to sell in '04 to get a minivan, but the 96 is a third vehicle and here to stay. I'm excited to be back in the club! It looks like My Old KY Home is well represented here as well!

Welcome Eric. You have several posts in your other thread about your problem, me included.
So I will just say Welcome to CF and we are glad you joined us. There are a few Ky members so you should feel pretty much at home.

Thanks everyone for the welcomes.
What part of the state are you from?
Never did any wheeling in my old '94, not that I'm opposed to it. I just didn't think I could do much in stock form. I'll let you know if I get the itch.
Yeah, Radcliff is right around the corner. I can get to the mall in E-town in 30 mins. There used to be a place here in Nelson Co. near New Hope where we took 4-wheelers (15-20 yrs ago)...others had trucks, Jeeps, etc out there. I'm not sure if it is still allowed there or not. I'll try to find out.

I guess as long as there are bypasses I would be fine then. For me, I think I would have fun at first just cruisin thru the woods...then I would get totally hooked and have to jack it up and all that
I'm new to mods on these things...what is a welded rear and what's the benefit?
