Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2001 cherokee sport and will probably replace three vehicles with it. I can watch the gas gauge move in my 4X4 f250 so its got to go. My 91 honda accord with 248,000 miles just doesn't have the appeal it use to. One that someone may have to pry out of my hands is a 1994 Jaguar xjs V12 convertable with only 36,000 miles. I may keep the Jag just because I love it!
This jeep should meet all of my needs. A good tow vehicle, a tool hauler, something I can use going to the hardware stores. It has only 48,000 miles, so it should last awhile. I already have more questions than I could list, simply by reviewing some of the posts. I have just cleared my first Evap Emission code P0456. I want a full size spare on the outside of the vehicle, a winch, jerry can, heavy duty roof rack and ... . I will be searching around this site for quite a bit. Thanks to everyone for contributing to a site like this it makes life much much easier for us newby's.

Thank's Scott

and yes I am a member of the Jag lovers forum, it has saved me thousands of dollars

Welcome, noob. Oh wait! I'm a noob too! I don't even have a Jeep. I just called on a '96 over in Oswego. 30 min. late. You know, Leggo, its getting pretty hard to play keeping up with the Joneses..errr...Leggos.

See you at work. We'll stuff an Aussie up front and see if we can hop a curb.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I will be researching an Evaporative Emissions Control issue my light came on again. So it's off to a new forum. It's a long way to Australia just to lock up my front end

Well it took a spell, but I found one. Thought I would bump this one up so that others could know it might take a while to find one you like. This one is a 1995. 3500 bucks and pretty straight. Thats the price one has to give around here, unless your uncle gives you one or something.

Yeah. Oh Boy! Now the weather won’t keep me from coming in to work!! I have probably made a hideous mistake.

And "OLD" is right. I have been slithering around underneath, on top of and inside the thing for a couple of days straight. I probably should have bought a 'Rascal' instead. I wonder where the lightbulbs for the shift indicator illumination live...
