Hi All,
I'm from just outside of Niagara Falls, ON.
I have a 1996 GC Laredo 4x4 with a 4.0L. I traded a 1993 Bonneville SSEi even for it. (I had two Bonneville's, I kept one, traded the other for the Jeep!)
This is my second Cherokee. A few years ago I had a 1985, and I loved it!
All this one needed was the drivers door fixed up, good trade!
I found this forum by accident! I belong to another Jeep forum, but I like this one, as it is geared to Cherokee's only!
Thanks for having me aboard. here are some pics:
What I traded:

What I got in return. Sweet!!

It is in great shape. It came from Manitoba. I understand they do not salt their roads, only sand them.
Here is the trouble I had:

Caused by:

Bushing missing from the hinge.
A new pin and bushing kit, welded a plate on the door, drilled the holes for the latch, and off to the races!
Oh,
Here's a pick of my 1993 SSEi that I kept. It's parked for the winter now.

Cheers,
Adam

Just gonna say, and I know i'm starting a very old thread. We salt our roads in Manitoba. ALOT of salt. You should look at my XJ and all the rust for proof. I had to rebuild all of the floors. But welcome to the forums anyways!
