Default New from NW Chicago

Hello.

I am new to the Jeep world but have had a blast with my new to me 99 Xj.

When I got it the Xj had a 3" Rough Country 3" Series II Suspension with 3" lifted coil springs, lower control arms, and sway-bar drop brackets, 4 RC N2.0 series shocks, new stabilizer, 3" track bar and new rear leaf springs. 31x10.50x15 duratracs on stock rims.

So far I have done the following:

  • 33x12.50x15 Dura Tracs on new rims
  • pulled sway bar drop bracket and added Rough Country Sway Bar Link Quick Disconnects
  • Smittybilt XRC Front Bumper w/ Winch Plate 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ 76810 Black with Bull bar
  • Smittybilt XRC8, 8,000 lb. Winch, Recovery Gear, Jeep, 12v, 5.5 HP - 97281
  • 4-1 RACING HEADER EXHAUST JEEP CHEROKEE XJ 4.0L
I also have the following that will be going on this weekend:

  • Bushwacker Cut-Out Style Fender Flares
  • 84-01 New Jeep XJ Cherokee Adjustable front Track Bar 4.5" - 6.5"
  • 84-01 Jeep XJ Cherokee Control Arm Drop for Lift Kit rough country
  • Jeep Cherokee XJ 1" Transfer Case Drop Bracket lowering Kit spacer
  • Rough Country XJ Bar Pin Eliminator Kit
  • Rubicon Express XJ 5.5" Front Coil Springs RE1345
  • Rough Country Jeep TJ / XJ Tie Rod Upgrade Kit
  • Jeep XJ Cherokee Drop Pitman Arm w/ 2-6.5" Lift
  • 84-02 Jeep Cherokee XJ Rear 1.5-2.5 Shackles Lift Kit
  • 3/4 front coil spring spacer to offset bumper/winch weight
  • Extended braided stainless Brake lines

I have only had to on the trail once so far but I was amazed how preformed.

Here are a few pics:

How I got it

JDHedman,
If you are using a spring spacer on the front to offset the weight of the bumper/winch, why are you putting longer shackes in the rear to lift that too?
