Talking New member, Boise, ID

Just bought myself a 2000 Jeep cherokee sport, 4x4, 4 door! - Only driven it 2 times, (home and to work this morning)

Thought I would say hello to everyone and see if any other Boise/Idaho members are on?

From just buying it last night I will be replacing all fluids this weekend. Will be checking the spark plugs etc. Any suggestions for me? Any thing I should know or do with just becoming a first time jeep owner?

I have read a lot of topics so far and will be reading most of the day (nothing to do at work)

Thanks and look for more posts !!

Curtis

i would do the whole shabang. new wires, plugs, fluid levels, check the brake lines, rotors/pads (replace them if needed). take off any pinstriping, tint the windows & paint it black. wait a min, that's my jeep i'm talking about!! haha

Its funny you talk about the pin striping. My roomate and I disscussed this already. Were taking that off and powder coating the wheels black. Windows are already tinted with 20%

I have a S10 pickup thats all blacked out also.

OH and i own blacktshirt.com

I guess you could say I like black

i was never a fan of having a black car due to the fact that u can tell it's dirty right away from the pollen, dust, dirt and bird droppings from heaven. it wasn't until i started fixing up my jeep that i developed the love for the "murdered out" look. and now my fav colors for cars are white, champagne gold and black!

do you have pics of your s10. i'm a big time chevy fan.

Here it is before I got black wheels and black grille.

It's on air ride. Drop spindles and modded lower A-arms on the front and a boxed in frame from the cab back with a tri-angled 4 link. Plenty of other mods as well. It will lay the frame on the ground
